Peru Church will host its Mountain Market on Friday and Saturday at the Community Center. The event has been held for 60+ years.
The center will open at 4 p.m. Friday with a homemade baked bean dinner and tables of homemade crafts, foods, cord of wood raffle, and commercial vendors.
The church table will offer Peru maple syrup, old-fashioned wooden gumball machines and Cabot Cheese from the wooden wheel. The Cross Talk band will perform from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event will continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with homemade beef stew at noon.
The snack bar will offer a variety of grilled foods both days. Admission is free. The building is handicap accessible.
