Berkshire County Kids’ Place will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the 20 Years of Magic & Hope Gala on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Country Club of Pittsfield. The event includes a sit down dinner, magic, music, and a silent and live auction.
This year’s event will honor the founders of the organization with the Founders’ Award which will be presented to six honorees: Timothy Shugrue; Jennifer Tierney-Stokes; Joseph Collias; Robert Canale; William Hines Sr.; and Robert Smith.
The Founders’ Award will become an annual honor presented to a community member or Kids’ Place partner who goes above and beyond to support the growth of the organization.
Also honored will be David Phelps of Berkshire Health Systems with the Community Leader Award, and Paul Fortini with the Sheri L. Quinn Leadership Award.
The Berkshire County Kids’ Place is a nationally accredited Children’s Advocacy Center providing intervention, prevention and treatment services for victims of child abuse and family violence in Berkshire County.
Tickets are available for purchase through Oct. 11. Individual tickets are $75 and a table of eight can be purchased for $525.
