Emmy Award-winning television host Jeff Corwin, an environmental journalist, will deliver this fall’s Hardman Lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, in the Church Street Center’s Eleanor Furst Roberts Auditorium at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
The lecture, made possible through the generosity of the Hardman Family Endowment, is free and open to the public.
Corwin has worked for the conservation of endangered species and the delicate ecosystems around the globe for nearly three decades. A passionate advocate for renewable and sustainable living, he will speak on "100 Heartbeats."
Corwin perhaps is best known as the host of Animal Planet’s "Jeff Corwin Experience."
He is the author of "100 Heartbeats: The Race to Save Earth’s Most Endangered Species," "Living on the Edge," "Amazing Relationships in the Natural World" and "The Jeff Corwin Junior Explorer Series," a book series for younger readers, which focuses on wildlife, ecology and conservation.
