The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of women will hold a regional public hearing on women’s issues from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave.
Community leaders and Pittsfield residents are invited to testify about issues that are important to them, their children, family, and community.
Concerns may include economic justice, combating violence against women, affordable housing, health care and child care, among others.
Oral and written testimony will be accepted. The event is open to the public.
