REACH for Community Health, the community health education arm of North Adams Regional Hospital, is sponsoring its annual free "Girls’ Night Out" from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at North Adams Regional Hospital. The first 150 attendees will receive a thank you gift.
Women of all ages are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided, as well as raffles and information on health, wellness, and issues of special importance to women.
Fifteen-minute reiki, reflexology, hand treatment, massage and facial sessions will be available. These services are limited to one per person on a first-come, first-serve basis and attendees can sign up when they arrive.
This year, staff from NARH’s Medical Imaging Department will not only be on hand to schedule screening mammogram appointments, but for patients who are due, a technician will be on site to perform mammograms that evening.
