Several organizations concerned with the health and well-being of military personnel, veterans, their families and those who serve them, are cooperating to plan a "Veterans Expo" event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday, Nov. 15.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., accompanied by a light continental breakfast. The Expo follows from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event is open to the public.
Topics will include veteran education, benefits/eligibility, job search strategies and techniques, employer support, behavioral health services, and wellness activities.
The keynote speaker during lunch will be Kevin Lambert, a US Army veteran and director of Special Populations for the Department of Veterans' Services.
Vendors include Berkshire Community College, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Servicenet, United Personnel, Balance Staffing, Goodwill Industries/Suit Yourself, Molari Employment & Healthcare Services, and more.
