Surrounded by her family at Bounti-Fare Restaurant in Adams, Suzanne Williams, right, shakes hands with a guest at a dinner in her honor. Williams' scooter was stolen last month, and a benefit dinner Monday night is helping to raise money for a new one.

Christa Levesque, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Cheshire, organized the spaghetti supper fundraiser. Williams attends her church. Williams rode approximately 30 minutes on her scooter to Cheshire every Sunday from her home in North Adams, until it was stolen from outside of her Houghton Street apartment last month.
