Fiscal Year 2014 Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills were mailed on Friday, Oct. 25. First-half payment is due on Monday, Nov. 25.

Taxpayers are asked to include the top-half remit copy of their bill with their payment. Payments should be mailed to the Town of Peru, Tax Collector, P.O. Box 974, Hinsdale, MA 01235. Payments may also be made online at www.unitaxonline.com.

Taxpayers wishing to file for an abatement must contact the Board of Assessors at (413) 655-8657. The Board of Assessors must have the completed abatement application by Monday, Nov. 25.

For those who wish to pay in person, the tax office is open Mondays from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
