Berkshire Medical Center’s Diabetes Education Program is offering a free series of educational sessions on pre-diabetes in January.
The sessions are designed for those whose physician has told them their blood sugar levels are elevated but not high enough to be considered diabetes, or for those who have been told they are at risk for diabetes.
The programs will be held Mondays, Jan. 20 and 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Private Dining Room C at Berkshire Medical Center, adjacent to the BMC Café.
The program will be presented by Julie Shepard, registered dietitian at BMC. Interested participants should plan on attending both sessions.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, call (413) 395-7942 or visit www.berkshirehealthsystems.org.
