Delaney Moran, daughter of Janice and Michael Moran of Lenox, has been selected as Lenox Memorial High School’s Daughter of the American Revolution Good Citizen by the high school faculty and her peers.
Each year, the Daughters of the American Revolution organization offers a Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.
Moran is a senior at Lenox Memorial High School where she is the president of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society and co-president of Students As Voices of Empowerment, the student-run humanitarian club.
This past year, she won the David McCullough Award, Wellesley College Book Award, as well as achievement awards in mathematics, French and Latin.
Moran also participated in an International Relations and Diplomacy Summer Fellowship Program at Mercy College. She is interested in dance, languages and biochemistry.
