Flying Deer Nature Center will offer the program, "Tracks and Trails: Knowing our Wild Neighbors," at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the New Lebanon Library, 550 State Route 20.

Naturalist Josh Wood will present a slideshow designed to help participants begin the process of familiarizing themselves with the tracks of local wildlife.

Participants will also learn to recognize the signs of a variety of common animals in the woods.

Wood is the assistant director at Flying Deer Nature Center.

This program, which is appropriate for adults, teens, and older school-aged children, is free and open to the public.
