Old Chatham Quaker Meeting will screen "The Healthcare Movie" at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Old Chatham Quaker Meetinghouse, 539 County Route 13, across from Pitt Hall Road and Powell House.
"The Healthcare Movie" reveals the impact on Canadians who now have access to universal health care because of people who took a stand nearly 50 years ago.
The film also reveals the continuing struggle in the United States between the fear of government intervention and the right to quality health care for all people.
The screening is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and a moderated discussion will follow.
