The annual Williams College French Film Festival will take place at 7 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 17 through March 3, at Images Cinema, 50 Spring St.

This year’s theme is "Unlikely Love: Longing and Desire in New French Film." The films will examine love and affection, attraction and seduction, and gender and sexuality in contemporary France.

"Farewell My Queen" will be shown on Feb. 17, "Rust and Bone" on Feb. 24, and "Amour" on March 3. All films are in French with English subtitles.

Associate Professor of French Brian Martin will introduce the films. The screenings are free and open to the public.
