Fresh Fest, a food and farm film festival, will take place Friday through Sunday, Feb. 28 to March 2. The event features films about food, farming, culture, and community.
The series begins with a screening of "A Place at the Table" at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Images Cinema.
On Saturday, March 1, a live-stream broadcast of "TEDx Manhattan: Changing the Way We Eat" will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. in Wege Auditorium.
Saturday screenings also include "After Winter, Spring" and "Soul Food Junkies" at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively, at Images Cinema.
Lastly, "Leviathan" will be shown at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Images Cinema.
All events are free and open to the public.
The movie screenings will feature food from local producers including Wild Oats, Cricket Creek Farm and Wildflour Bakery. Each film will also feature a speaker.
