The Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum will hold their spring book sale Thursday through Saturday, March 13 to 15, in the library auditorium, 1 Wendell Avenue.

From 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, the sale is for members of the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum only. One can support the local library and join the Friends by purchasing a $10 membership at the door.

The sale is open to all from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15.

Shoppers will find thousands of fiction and non-fiction titles in hardcovers and paperbacks. Audio books, music CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, puzzles and games broaden the offerings. There are books for serious collectors, young adults and children.

Nancy McNabb, who organizes the sales, points out the March sale offers an especially rich collection of cookbooks and books about the Civil War. Gift books to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day also await shoppers.
