Tony Simotes, executive director of Shakespeare & Company, will speak about the physicality of Shakespeare’s plays at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at The Lenox Library.

His talk, "Shakespeare’s Physical Text: The Language of Comedy and Violence Onstage," will look at how Elizabethan theater is performed, and how it was and is perceived by the audience.

This is the final Distinguished Lecture of the 2013-14 season. For more information about this and other Lenox Library programs, visit the library’s website or Facebook page, or call (413) 637-2630.
