The West Stockbridge Farmers Market will open for a third season beginning Thursday, May 22. The market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday, rain or shine, on the green at Harris Street, near the Post Office.
Produce from regional growers, food from local vendors, and agricultural related crafts and sellers can be found weekly. Thanks to partial grants and donations, musical performers will play each week. Moonshine Holler will be the first featured musician.
Throughout the season, there will be monthly special event markets to highlight a crop that best represents the local agriculture. Opening day will feature a Rhubarb Riot Bake Sale, recipe exchange and raffle.
