The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will present a commemorative program on the upcoming 70th anniversary of D-Day at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24.
This Memorial Day Weekend program will retrace the history of D-Day and have on view D-Day related artifacts from the International World War II Museum’s collection with commentary from the museum’s curator, Darrell English.
Western Gateway Heritage State Park is located south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building 4. Information: 413-663-6312.
