LENOX — Hundreds of teenagers from 10 different schools will take to the Tina Packer Playhouse stage at Shakespeare & Company this weekend for the final performances of the Fall Festival of Shakespeare. The performances are the culmination of students' nine-week exploration of Shakespeare's plays, guided by company staff.

The participating schools include: Berkshire Waldorf High School, Chatham High School (New York), Lee High School, Lenox Memorial High School, Monument Mountain Regional High School, Mount Everett Regional High School, Mount Greylock Regional High School, Springfield Central High School, Taconic High School and Taconic Hills High School (New York).

Led by Director of Education Kevin G. Coleman and Associate Director of Education Jenna Ware, the Fall Festival is a celebration, rather than a competition. Through daily rehearsals, students have the opportunity to develop skills in stage combat, performance aesthetics, dance, technical theatre, stage management, marketing and publicity during their Fall Festival experience.

The performance schedule is as follows:

Thursday: Lee High School perform's "The Winter's Tale" at 6:15 p.m.; Lenox Memorial High School performs "Twelfth Night" at 8:30 p.m.

Friday: Berkshire Waldorf High School performs "The Tempest" at 6:30; Mt. Greylock Regional High School performs "Macbeth" at 8:30p.m.


Saturday: Mt. Everett Regional High School performs "The Merry Wives of Windsor" at 1:30 p.m.; Taconic High School performs "Macbeth" at 3:30 p.m.; Monument Mountain Regional High School performs "The History of Henry VI" at 6:15 p.m.; Springfield Central High School performs "Antony and Cleopatra" at 8:30 p.m..

Sunday: Taconic Hills High School performs "Richard III" at 1:30; Chatham High School performs "The Winter's Tale" at 3:30 p.m.
