PITTSFIELD — A Springfield man who was caught up in a 2014 Pittsfield drug bust pleaded guilty on Wednesday and was sentenced to time already served.
James Dominguez, 29, was arrested along with two other men following a raid of a pair of Columbus Avenue apartments on Sept. 25.
Police recovered about 300 bags of heroin, 50 grams of crack cocaine, approximately $4,000 in cash, nine cellphones and other paraphernalia.
Dominguez pleaded guilty in Berkshire Superior Court before Judge John Agostini to charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and two counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws.
He was sentenced to 261 days of time already served in custody while awaiting trial.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, North Adams, Williamstown, Adams and Dalton police departments, state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
