STOCKBRIDGE >> Country Curtains has added two additional members to its senior leadership team to complement its new president and CEO, industry pro Celia Clancy.

Bob Kliewe has been named chief operating officer and chief financial officer while Steve Donnelly has been named corporate controller. Clancy's appointment as new president and CEO was announced in March. All the appointments are effective immediately.

Clancy, a member of Country Curtains' board of directors, has extensive experience in both operating and consulting roles in the retail industry. She previously served as CEO of Joyce Leslie Inc., a women's clothing chain located in the New York City area,

Clancy, who maintains her own retail/consumer goods consulting firm, has also served as president and CEO of Ashley Stewart, as president of AJ Wright, a division of TJX; and as senior vice president, general merchandising manager of apparel for Wal-Mart Stores.

Kliewe has served as a financial professional in a number of industries most recently in fitness, auto repair and retail. He has previously served as CFO for ECP-PF Holdings Group, Caliber Collision Centers and DB Companies.

Donnelly has a background in public accounting and auditing. He most recently worked in accounting operations at Wave Systems Corp. of Lee, a computer software company that filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in February.

Founded in 1956, Country Curtains is the country's first mail-order company. Late state Sen. John H. "Jack" Fitzpatrick and his wife, Jane, founded the company at their dining room table in Whitman before moving the business to Stockbridge.
