TYRINGHAM — Voters can expect some turnover on three municipal boards following the annual town election on May 16.

Balloting that day is from noon to 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

Barring any write-in candidates, James Consolati will be the newest selectman, Peter Salinetti and Rebecca Honig will join the Planning Board and Bill Cosel will grab a seat on the Board of Assessors.

All four are running unopposed; three succeeding incumbents and a fourth filling a vacancy.

Consolati, chairman of the Tyringham Finance Committee, will replace Jerry Miller, who opted against a re-election bid for another three year term as a selectman.

Cosel will succeed Assessor Marion "Terry" Clark, who decided to leave the position when her term ends.

Salinetti is an alternate on the Planning Board, moving up to the full-time slot currently held by Michael Curtin who isn't seeking re-election.

Honing will serve out the three years left on Holly Ketron's term as she has resigned from the Planning Board.

The only contested race on the ballot has Madison Curtin challenging incumbent Christopher Johnson for a three-year stint on the Park Commission.
