Mara Handy, 47, of County Road, Sheffield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She was ordered to surrender her license for 45 days and enter an alcohol education program. Her case was continued without a finding until Sept. 7, 2017.

Susan Murley, 49, of Louise Street, Pittsfield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of shoplifting. Her case was continued without a finding until October 6.

David J. Ohman, 36, of Blue Hill Road, Monterey, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a class D substance, to wit, marijuana. He was placed on probation until Nov. 7. A charge of possession of fireworks was dismissed.

Brenda R. Slutzkin, 47, of Renee Drive, Dalton, was found guilty of possession of heroin. She was placed on probation until Sept. 6, 2017. A charge of driving after suspension of license was dismissed.

In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

Zachary Ackerman, 20, of Brayton Hill Terrace, North Adams, had charges of domestic assault and battery and assault and battery on a pregnant victim dismissed for a failure to prosecute.

Scott Miller, 48, of South Street, Drury, had charges of malicious destruction of property over $250 and domestic assault and battery dismissed for a failure to prosecute.

Matthew Kauffman, 26, of Phelps Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of domestic assault and battery, intimidating a witness, malicious destruction of property over $250, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon that were continued without a finding until March 14, 2018.

Robert Dondi, 43, of Charles Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of attempting to commit a crime and two counts of malicious destruction of property over $250. He was ordered to pay $7,000 in restitution.

On Thursday:

Nickolas Keating, 29, of Monroe Road, Florida, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of domestic assault and battery that was continued without a finding until March 16, 2018.

Stephen Naprava, 59, of South Main Street, Cheshire, pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery was placed on probation until March 16, 2018. He was also given an eight-month suspended jail sentence.

Evan Hamelin, 30, of Temple Street, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of operating under the influence, second offense. He was placed on probation until Sept. 14, 2018.

Michael Felix, 45, of Cherry Street, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of larceny under $250 that was continued without a finding until Jan. 18, 2017.

Alicia Brown, 30, of Cherry Street, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of larceny under $250 that was continued without a finding until Jan. 18, 2017.
