The Blue Devils, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, hosted a 'Think Pink Thursday' last week. Ribbons were passed out and the team held a fundraiser.

What was the ultimate goal?
"It was to get the girls to think about lifestyles and health. I wanted to focus on [athletics]."

What made you happiest about it?
"The comments of the players. 'Did you see how many kids wore pink?' I felt like they felt they did a good job ... of honoring the ideas."

Is it something you think could be done yearly?
"Yeah. A couple of the juniors want to do this next year. One of the things we thought of is to have the other northern Berkshire teams do this."
