Murphy scored twice in the first half for the Wildcats (11-6-2), who led 4-0 at the half and outshot No. 9 Pathfinder 23-6. She added her third goal 3 minutes into the second half.
"It was real good passing in the box," said Lee coach Art Reilly. "Offensively, we rotated quite a few forwards through the front, and they all passed well through the box. She [Murphy] was doing a good job of making the runs, and people were putting it right to her feet."
Alex Young scored twice for Lee, adding an assist on Murphy's second goal at the 22-minute mark. Megan Gaul added Lee's other goal, while Katie Eckert picked up two assists.
Reilly was substituting freely just 7 minutes into the game. He noted that all 30 players on his roster saw action.
Lee will play at top seed Smith Academy on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.
"We know they're the No. 1 seed, but we think we can play with anybody in Western Mass.," Reilly said. "We're basically playing games every other day, and the girls certainly enjoy that."
