The coach’s take: She was our team leader, she held us together and kept everybody upbeat. I never saw her slow down in a game.

The county’s No. 2 scorer with 81 goals, she led the league with 27 assists. A dangerous scorer who knew when to pass off.
The coach’s take: She scored 81 goals, but she also had a boatload of assists. She was very good at drawing opponents to her and passing off.

Midfield
Scored 11 goals on the season for the Mounties, and also had two assists. A strong defender who played well at both ends.
The coach’s take: Alana led the team in draw controls. She didn’t really play a position. Her job was to stop the other team’s best player.

A tough defender who was not afraid to play physically. Also the No. 4 passer in the league with 12 assists.
The coach’s take: Defense often doesn’t get as much publicity, but Laine was a big part of the team. A great work ethic.

The Mounties’ "defensive defender", Stripp wasn’t much of a scorer, but she was tenacious at the other end of the field.
The coach’s take: Sarah led the team in ground balls and caused turnovers. She was a great defender.

Paired with Stripp, Wadsworth gave Greylock a formidable defensive unit.
The coach’s take: She was one of our captains. She called out our setups.

Had 83 saves on the season, with a season high 20 in a loss to Lee. One of the league’s best clutch goaltenders.
The coach’s take: She was unreal in our last league game against Wahconah [with 19 saves]. If we didn’t have her, Wahconah would have been in the tournament, not us.
