PITTSFIELD -- Five Generals shot 44 or under as Pittsfield High rebounded from a close loss to Lenox on Wednesday to defeat Taconic 162-179 on Thursday at the par 35 Berkshire Hills Country Club..
"Pittsfield outplayed us," said Taconic coach Mike Hillman. "Their top three scorers had great games. I thought we played a lot better earlier in the week."
Jake Matthews was the medalist of the match with a 38 for PHS.

SHEFFIELD -- Pitts field's Lauren
Lenox also defeated St. Joseph's 15-50.
The Generals took home a 15-50 win over Drury. The Crusaders went 2-1 on the afternoon, picking up a 15-50 win over Mount Everett and a 22-33 win over Drury. Drury beat Mount Everett 15-50.

SHEFFIELD -- Scott Carpenter took first place by nearly a minute over teammate Tucker McNinch, and Lenox defeated Pittsfield 24-31. Carpenter finished the course at Mount Everett in 15:32, with McNinch checking in at 16:20.
The Mount Everett boys team defeated Drury 25-30, led by Todd Clay , Justin Makuc and Kenny Edwards, who were 31st, 32nd and 33rd overall respectively. Pittsfield also defeated Drury 15-50.
