LEE -- Nathan Majumder scored a goal for Mount Greylock in the 13th minute against Lee on Friday. The visiting Mounties were forced to make that goal stand up in a 1-0 win over the Wildcats.

"They’re a powerhouse. To come out of it 1-0 was good," Lee coach Matt Kollmer said. "It wasn’t a situation where we had to pack it in. We played them hard in the midfield. We had chances."

On a rainy afternoon, both goalkeepers were more than solid. Sean Houston had eight saves for the shutout while Lee’s Heamon Williams made 11 saves.

CHESHIRE -- Nick Ryan scored in the 23rd minute to give the Hurricanes a slim one-goal lead over Wahconah. It held up until the 75th minute when Wahconah leveled the game on an own goal off a corner kick.

"A tie against a Northern Division team is always respectable," Hoosac coach Camilo Bermudez said.

The tying goal was an inward-swinging corner that Hoosac keeper Tom Galisa went to catch. He "semi-slipped" and the ball redirected of his foot and into the net.

"They controlled the game in the second half and eventually got their goal," Bermudez said. "Tom really kept us in the game."

Galisa finished with 11 saves, while his counterpart, Chris Dapson, made three.

LENOX -- The Millionaires held a two-goal lead after just 8 minutes Friday night, taking a 3-0 lead at the half.

"More than anything, it started with Jen [Delasco] working hard up top to get the ball to the end line and have a cross," Lenox coach Matt Cote said. "She had three or four real nice crosses."

Delasco’s unassisted goal at the 6-minute mark started the scoring. She assisted Tova Brown’s eighth-minute goal. Alessandra Arace added a goal and an assist.

"We got two quick goals, and momentum took us from there," Cote said. "We had a lot of creative play up top. I’m very pleased with my [team’s] offensive creativity."
