PITTSFIELD -- In one of the biggest head-to-head boys matchups of the young season, Taconic's Dom Nda beat Monument Mountain's Connor Storti in four events Tuesday at Taconic. Storti's Spartans, though, earned another dual-meet win.

Monument's boys swept the relays in the dual against the Braves, as well as the javelin and high jump, en route to a 98-43 win. In other duals at Taconic, Wahconah beat the Braves 80-66 and lost to Monument 95-46.

Nda (11.05 seconds) and Storti (11.18) went 1-2 in the 100. The same applied in the 200 (where Nda won by .01 seconds, running a 23.6), the long jump (19 feet, 3 inches to 18-5) and triple jump (39-11 1/2 to 39-0 1/2).

In the Warrior boys' dual win, they swept the 800, the high jump and the relays.

On the girls side, Wahconah defeated both Monument Mountain and Taconic (94-47) in duals. Monument and Taconic tied at 70.

Courtney Luscier earned wins in the 100 and 200 for the Braves, while Wahconah's Maddie Sprague won the 100 hurdles. Alyssa Doerle won both the shot put and discus for Taconic, while Monument's girls won the 3,200 relay.

PHS girls 113, Hoosac 28

CHESHIRE -- Pittsfield snagged wins in 15 of the 17 events to run away.

Lauren Farry and Rachael Hunt each won two events for the Generals. Farry won the mile by nearly 30 seconds and won the 800. Hunt took the discus and shot put.

Megan Rodowicz was the only individual winner for the Hurricanes, winning the 200 and 400.

Pittsfield boys 74, Hoosac 67

CHESHIRE -- The Generals swept the 110 hurdles, led by Ty Discoe's 17.5, and the shot put, led by Tajaye Davis' 41-2 throw. Dan Brien won the mile (4:38) and 2-mile (10:55) for PHS.

Trevor Ciempa won the 800 (2:13) and high jump (5-6) for Hoosac.

Results will appear in Thursday's Eagle.
