LENOX -- Kristin Read had 16 assists, six aces and four kills to keep Lenox unbeaten (3-0) with a three-set sweep over Mount Everett, 25-12, 25-9, 25-21.
"We tried a few different things tonight, but give Everett credit," said Lenox coach Ed Paquette. "The last match was pretty close."
In addition to Read, Suzanne Woller had five kills, nine aces and 17 service points while Liz Mitts had 11 kills, five aces and 10 service points.
Kayla Krom led the Eagles with five kills, two blocks and two digs, while Jess Abbott had two kills and two blocks.
Pittsfield 3, Wahconah 0
PITTSFIELD -- The Generals improved to 4-0 with a 25-22, 25-12, 25-15 sweep of the Warriors.
"We were serving very well, and we put a lot of pressure on their defense," said Pittsfield coach Brian Lawton. "Sam DeCarlo had a great night, with 14 aces."
DeCarlo also had eight assists. Teammate Sienna Carpenter had five kills and three aces, while Sarah Koldys added three digs.
For Wahconah, Emily Jordan had five kills, two blocks and two digs; Taylor Powers had an ace and six service points; and Chloe Warren had five kills and an ace.
Monument 3, New Lebanon 0
GREAT BARRINGTON -- The Spartans picked up their first win of the year as Emily Barbeau had six aces and four kills.
"The girls were more focused tonight," said Spartan coach Mike Troiano. "I think they're over their jitters of the first few matches we've had."
Caitlyn Osak added four aces, two digs and an assist.
Taconic 3, St. Joseph 0
PITTSFIELD -- The Braves tallied 20 aces in a 25-7, 25-22, 25-7 sweep of the Crusaders. Alyssa Doerle had eight of those aces, with Jackie Kays and Nyanna Slaughter adding six each.
"They had good servers," said St. Joe coach Peter Strack of the Braves. "We've got a lot of new players on the team. Serve-receive, they were there, but they couldn't really pass the ball very well."
Leanne Hamilton had three kills for St. Joe (0-3), while Andrea Krahforst-Lang had three kills and four digs.
