PITTSFIELD -- The Miss Hall's School soccer team was under .500 when last week started. Now, the Hurricanes are 5-3 after winning three games.
On Monday, Miss Hall's beat Watkinson 4-0. Sally Nason of Lee had two goals, while Caroline Saltzman of Williamstown and Sophie Bellemare had single tallies.
On Wednesday, Nason scored a hat trick in Miss Hall's 6-1 win over Stonleigh-Burnham. Saltzman scored twice while Bellemaire and Pittsfield's Grace Guachione had a goal each. Bellemaire and Guachione are freshmen.
The Hurricanes finished with an 8-0 win over Simon's Rock. Nason scored twice, giving her seven goals in the three wins. Maggie Meisberger of Pittsfield, Sarah Aillon of Dalton, Bellemaire and Guachione also helped get the Hurricanes the win.
In cross country, Miss Hall's competed on Saturday in the Richard Miller Invitational at Stratton Brook State Park in Simsbury, Conn.
The top finisher for Miss Hall's was Patricia Brandl, who ran the 3.1 miles in 28 minutes, 51 seconds.
