CHESHIRE -- Trevor Alibozek did most of his scoring at the free-throw line Monday night.

Alibozek knocked down 13 free throws as part of his game-high, 19-point performance for Hoosac Valley in a 64-42 win over Lee. He missed just two free throws, and pulled down 14 rebounds for one of the Hurricanes' two double-doubles.

Eleven of Alibozek's free throws were hit in the second half.

"Most of his free throws were in transition," Hoosac coach Bill Robinson said. "He just caught the ball in transition. We moved up the floor and hit him. He'd go up and get fouled."

Jameson Coughlan had the other double-double for Hoosac, with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

"Coughlan was a force in the first half," Robinson said. "I haven't done averages yet, but going back, I think Coughlin's right around 12 [rebounds per game], and Alibozek's around there as well. We're getting consistency out of those two.

"[Peter] Barrow's been giving us some real good minutes. We're getting production out of those guys in the 4 and 5 spots."

Heamon Williams scored 14 points to lead Lee. He now has 1,025 career points, 55th on the county boys' all-time list.

Greylock 60, McCann 37

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Mount Greylock broke open a close game by outscoring visiting McCann Tech by 14 points in the third quarter.

"I wasn't really happy with the kids' intensity in the first half," Greylock coach Bob Thistle said. "We came out and played harder" in the second half.

The halftime score was 29-24, but thanks to six points from Cole Jackson and five from Ian Brink, the Mounties went on a 21-7 run to pull away.

Jackson had a game-high 19 points and Brink added 14 for Greylock. Shane Fuller led McCann with 15 points.

Girls basketball: Taconic 53, Lee 27

LEE -- The Braves rebounded their way to a win Monday over Lee.

Alyssa Kelly led Lee with 10 points, including three 3-pointers.
