HADLEY — Two Williams College football players have been named to the NESCAC All-Conference second team.

Senior wide receiver Darrias Sime of Renton, Wash., and senior defensive back Elijah Eaton of West Linn, Ore., were the only two Ephs named to the squad.

Sime caught 46 passes for 520 yards and five touchdowns. He was tied for fourth in the conference for touchdown passes.

Eaton had 36 tackles at safety with 16 assisted tackles. He had a sack and an interception.

Amherst coach E.J. Mills, who led his team to a second consecutive 8-0 record, was named coach of the year. The Lord Jeffs led NESCAC in scoring (27.6 points per game) and scoring defense (9.9 points).

The offensive player of the year was Tufts junior running back Chance Brady, the defensive player of the year was defensive back Jimmy Fairfield-Sonn of Amherst while freshman running back Max Chipouras of Trinity was rookie of the year.

Trinity has eight first-team selections, while Amherst has seven and Middlebury 5.
