PITTSFIELD — Three former St. Joseph football players and a current National Football League official are included in this year's Monday Morning Quarterback Club's Pittsfield Scholastic Football Hall of Fame class.
The six inductees were voted on via a fund raising program, and Hall of Fame president Joe Woitkoski said some $11,000 was raised. Proceeds will benefit a scholarship fund for city of Pittsfield high school football players.
The inductees are Kevin Codey of Taconic, a line judge with an NFL officiating crew; Pete Tierney, Eric Pompi and Dale Phelps, all former St. Joseph players; along with former Pittsfield player David Glass and contributor Bill Stumpek.
