MANCHESTER, VT. — Emmy Cote scored 10 times, including the game-winning goal in overtime, for the Wahconah girls lacrosse team in its 17-16 victory over Burr and Burton.
Jordan Budaj scored four goals for the Warriors (8-2) while Kenna McIlquham added two scores.
Burr and Burton led 11-7 at halftime and eventually held a 15-12 lead with 9:27 remaining. But Cote scored four times down the stretch while the Bulldogs only scored once to send the game into overtime.
Cote finally ended it with 1:07 remaining in the extra frame. Shayla Heekin and Lydia Morgantini each scored four times for Burr and Burton.

Lee led 8-3 at halftime, but Pittsfield outscored the Wildcats 7-4 in the second half to make it closer.

Olds pitched a complete game for Lee (0-6). The Wildcats held a 4-1 lead through four innings, but Gators tied it in the bottom of the fifth.
Gateway then scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Josh Webster, Brett Turban and Joe Jones each had two hits for the Gators.

NORTH ADAMS >> Mike Ferrara pitched a complete game, allowing one run for McCann Tech in its victory over Franklin Tech.
Charlie Bohl went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Hornets (6-4, 5-2 Tri-County) while Ryan Meehan was also 2 for 3 with an RBI. McCann fell behind when Franklin scored in the top of the first, but the Hornets answered with two in the bottom of the inning and one run in each of the next two innings to extend the lead.
Kyle Johnson pitched a complete game for Franklin Tech while also contributing a double at the plate.

DALTON >> Wahconah picked up its sixth win of the season with a win over McCann Tech on Tuesday.
The Warriors (6-4) built up an 11-0 lead at halftime to see off the game. McCann Tech (0-10) scored its lone goal in the fourth quarter.
But despite the lopsided scoreline, Wahconah coach Zach Sondrini said he was impressed with the effort out of the Hornets in their first year as a program.
"They fought really hard and I think they are going to come a long way in the next couple of years," Sondrini said. "I was impressed with them, impressed with their effort.
"Our defense and goalie play has been very solid this year. That's where our upperclassmen leadership is impacting our team. They put pressure on McCann's top offensive players and made it difficult to score."
Wyatt Schliecher had five goals in the win and Connor Washburn chipped in with four goals and three assists. Mike Moreno scored for McCann.
