PITTSFIELD — Pittsfield's Giuliana Pierce threw a perfect game against Lenox, leading the Generals to a 15-0 win on Thursday. She did not allow a runner in five innings, striking out seven batters.

Pierce had plenty of run support, as the Generals scored 12 times in the first inning. Allie Hunt led Pittsfield with three hits and three runs batted in. Erin Murphy and Emily Koldys also had three hits each. Hayley Tobin had four hits and two RBI.

NORTHFIELD >> Wahconah's offense collected 16 hits, carrying it to a big win over Pioneer.


The Warriors scored in all but two innings, using a six-run seventh to put an exclamation point on the game. Jess Warren had three hits including a home run and six RBI. Ashley Zink had four hits, also including a home run and three RBI. Chloe Warren had three hits and three RBI. Allie Borowsky and Kayla Kowalcyk had three hits each. Borowsky earned the win. She went the distance, striking out eight and walking only one.

"We did a really good job of seeing the ball," Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. "We hit the ball hard all the time and it becomes contagious. Everybody comes to the plate with confidence. We weren't producing at the plate early in the year, hopefully a game like this is one we can build off of."

WILLIAMSTOWN >> Mount Everett used the long ball to defeat Mount Greylock. Morgan DeGrenier put the Eagles up 2-0 in the second with a two-run homer. The Mounties tied the game in the third, as Fiona Kelley scored on an error and Haley Guest plated one with a single. Emily Coon regained the lead for the visitors with a home run in the fifth. Rachel Voller added a home run in the fifth for Greylock, but they could not complete the comeback.

DALTON >> Twelve different Wahconah players scored goals as the Warriors improved to 7-4.

"We had fresh legs and it was good to see a lot of different guys getting some varsity experience," Wahconah coach Zach Sondrini wrote in an email. "I like to see a lot of assists and seeing the older guys sharing the ball making the younger guys better."

Connor Washburn had five goals and four assists for Wahconah, while Dart Jaggi scored four goals.

MONSON >> On Wednesday night, the visiting Spartans rallied out of a first-quarter hole to take a win over Monson.

Monument (7-3) fell behind 3-1 after a quarter, but tied the game up at 4-4 going into halftime and took the lead for good with a 2-0 third quarter.

Joe LaBrasca had five goals and two assists in the win, while Homer Winston had a hat trick of goals. Gabe Marquez and Anthony Ahand had two goals each for Monson.

WILLIAMSTOWN >> At Williams College, Lenox and Mount Greylock split on the court. The Greylock boys beat Lenox 5-0, while the Millionaires beat the Mountie girls 5-0.

In the girls' match, the Millionaires won all five matches in straight sets. Victoria Vittori, playing No. 1 singles, set the tone for Lenox with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Josie Dalsin.

The Greylock boys also won their matches in straight sets. At No. 2 singles, Jacob Fink had a battle but bested Hugo Hale 6-3, 7-5.

LEE >> It was a clean sweep for the host Wildcats on Thursday. The boys scored a 5-0 win over St. Mary's, while the girls edged the Gaels 3-2.

For the Lee boys (4-3), both of the contested singles matches went to three sets. Ibz Zia at No. 1 and Michael Comalli at No. 2 dropped their first sets, but rallied for three-set wins.

Michele Belliveau earned her first varsity win at No. 3 singles, for the Lee girls. Lee coach Norma Comalla said Belliveau played a very consistent match. She defeated Zehenia Chang in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.

Ava Martin (No. 2 singles), and Kate Delsignor and Angie Najaime (No. 1 doubles) helped the Wildcats clinch the game.
