WILLIAMSTOWN >> Mount Greylock lost its first game of season, as Mount Anthony held off the Mounties for a 12-11 win on Friday.
Caroline Flynn's goal with 1 minute and 11 seconds remaining in the game cut Greylock's deficit to one. The host had a chance to tie, but a charge penalty negated a late goal and the Mounties (11-1) could regain possession.
Mount Anthony went up 2-0 early in the first. Greylock answered, tying the game at 3-3, but the Patriots ended the first half on a 5-0 run.
Sarah Stripp led Greylock with five goals. Ari Walden added three goals.
