PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield American 11-12 year-old all-stars advanced to the winner's bracket final of the District I tournament with a 10-1 win over Great Barrington on Thursday at Clapp Park.
Kieran Koscia, Patrick Fundfuss and Bo Bramer combined for a three-hitter on the mound.
Pittsfield held a 4-1 lead after three innings, and pulled away with six runs in the fourth.
Brendan Stannard led Pittsfield with a home run, a double and four runs batted in. Bramer and Fundfuss had three hits each. Owen Korboth had a home run.
Nick Pectal plated Great Barrington's lone run with a home run in the fourth. Peter LaRochelle and Matthew Benham each had doubles.
Pittsfield awaits the winner of Pittsfield National and Adams. Great Barrington will play North Adams at noon on Saturday at Clapp in the consolation bracket.

PITTSFIELD >> The Pittsfield National 10-11 year-old all-stars advance to the Berkshire County Little League final with a big win over Great Barrington.
Pittsfield scored six runs in the second and four run in the sixth to seal the win. Santino Arienti earned the win. Nick Giuachione, Jake Hall, Adam Lazits, Bryson Jezewski each had two hits. Johnny Crawford and Matt Lee added doubles.
Emma Goewey had a home run for Great Barrington.
National will face Pittsfield American Friday at 5:30 at Springside Park.
KEENE 4, NORTH ADAMS 3
KEENE, N.H. >> Brandt Stallings' ninth-inning double into left field gave Keene the victory over North Adams.
The Swamp Bats led for a majority of the game, before the SteepleCats rallied in the eighth inning.
With one out in the eighth, Nick Riotto and Dustin Shirley singled. After a pop out by Daniel Holst, Edward Haus plated two with a double into left field, tying the game at 3-3. The two runs spoiled a strong start from Keene's Tommy Doyle. He struck out 10 in seven innings before giving way to Ivon Clough, who gave up the lead.
North Adams remains on the road Friday, facing the Upper Valley Nighthawks at 6:30.
