WEST LEBANON, N.Y. — Brett Hearn came all the way from 12th position to win his fifth Modified feature race of the season at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Saturday night
Olden Dwyer started from the pole, followed by John Ruchel. While they were at the front of the pack, Hearn charged through the field.
On lap 5, Hearn had moved from 12th to sixth, and by the seventh, he was in fourth place.
Matt Pupello had come from the pack to take second, trailing only Dwyer. That all changed on lap 10. That's when Hearn found his way past Pupello. It took Hearn five more laps to take the lead.
When the checkered flag flew, Hearn had win No. 5. Eddie Marshall passed Pupello off a restart and Marshall finished second. It was his best Modified finish of the season. Andy Bachetti took third, followed by Kyle Armstrong.
In the Pro Stock feature, Jef Kelmel had the pole in the 26-car field. It didn't lat long for Kelmel, as Rich Crane held the lead.
Fourteen laps in, contact between Crane and Chuck Towslee forced both drives back into the pack. Crane finished an unlucky 13th.
On the restart, Jay Corbin pulled away and held off the field for the win. Victory Hopkins took second.
