DALTON — Wahconah freshman Nate Dos Santos shot a career-low score Monday, as the Warriors beat Hoosac Valley 162-175, evening their record at 1-1.
Dos Santos, the younger brother of Wahconah's Jon, shot a 2-over-par 37 on the front nine at Wahconah Country Club to earn medalist honors. Nate Dos Santos had a pair of birdies in the match.
All four of Wahconah's scoring golfers shot under 43. Hoosac's Jack Sniezek (40) was the only Hurricane to do so.
"It was a great performance from freshman Nate Dos Santos, as well as a balanced scoring attack from our top four," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak wrote in an email.
Wahconah is 1-0 in the Berkshire North. Hoosac is 1-2 overall, 0-2 in the North.

PITTSFIELD >> On Valentine Road, host Taconic battled back to send its match against crosstown-rival Pittsfield (3-0) to a fifth set. Unfortunately for the Braves (0-2), it was their second five-set loss in as many matches.
Pittsfield won 25-13, 23-25, 25-15, 21-25, 15-7.
"I think we're almost there," Taconic coach Jen Doerle said. "We just have to push a little harder."
The Generals were paced by Riley Nichols, who had 31 assists, three aces and three kills. Danielle LeBlanc had seven aces and seven digs for PHS while Katara Mullett had 10 aces and nine kills.
Taconic was led by Maddy Quinto, who registered six kills and five digs. Roselyn Vega had a team-high eight kills for Taconic, while Jasmine Rodriguez had three kills, two digs and an ace.
LEE 3, LONGMEADOW 2
LEE >> Kendra Williams registered 25 assists and five kills to help Lee overcome Longmeadow 25-16, 18-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-11.
Haleigh Richardson had six blocks and four kills for the Wildcats (3-1) while Shenna Tyer added 10 kills, six aces and three assists. Anna Wang contributed nine digs and three aces for Lee.
"I knew it was going to be a well-coached team," Lee coach John Warner said of Longmeadow. "We had quite a match."
MOUNT GREYLOCK 3, MOUNT ANTHONY 1
WILLIAMSTOWN >> Mount Greylock (2-1, 1-1 Berkshire North) had its service game going Monday night, registering 23 service aces in a three-set win over visiting Mount Anthony (0-2, 0-2). The scores were 25-11, 25-10, 25-15.
Serena Chow had eight aces for the Mounties, while Marley Buffis and Dagny Albano had four aces each. Buffis had six digs and Albano had 11 assists.
Jordyn Burke had five blocks for Mount Anthony and Emma Myers had two kills.
MONUMENT MOUNTAIN 3, ST. JOSEPH 0
GREAT BARRINGTON >> Host Monument Mountain (1-1, 1-0 Berkshire South) picked up its first divisional win and its first victory of the season by beating St. Joseph 25-10, 25-11, 25-17.
"We got our serves in tonight," Monument coach Kyle Henry said.
Alexa Troiano had six aces, while Lyssa Richard and Alyssa Mack had four aces each. Richard had nine assists, Mack had three kills, while Troiano had two kills and an assist.
For St. Joseph (0-1, 0-1), Hannah Chrzanowski had two kills and three digs, Emily Hamilton had three kills and two digs, while Corinna Carroll had four digs and three kills.
LENOX 3, MOUNT EVERETT 2
LENOX >> The Millionaires defeated South County foe Mount Everett 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.
Tori Vittori had eight kills and three aces for Lenox (2-0, 2-0 Berkshire South) while Kayanna Black added four kills. Also for the Millionaires, BomBee Lahart registered five aces and four kills while Katie Colvin had three kills and two aces.
For Mount Everett (0-2, 0-1), Kayla Krom recorded six kills while Chandler DeGrenier had two assists, one kill and one ace.
