WILLIAMSTOWN — Emmy Cote scored two goals within the first five minutes to lead the Wahconah girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Mount Greylock.

After Caroline Flynn opened the scoring for Greylock in the third minute, Cote answered one minute later to tie it for the Warriors.

Cote then scored again on a penalty kick in the fifth minute for Wahconah (1-1, 1-1 Berkshire North).

"We score, one minute later they get the equalizer, and then there was a handball PK," Mount Greylock coach Tom Ostheimer said. "I thought we recovered well. We played hard, it was a back and forth game. We were right there at the end, trying to get the equalizer."

Rachel Voller had seven saves for Greylock (1-3, 0-3) while Izzy Nacastro registered five stops.

Carpenter opened the scoring in the fifth minute for the Eagles (5-0, 3-0 Berkshire South) and scored again in the 43rd minute, the latter assisted by Logan Rathbun.

Jill Scussel answered for Taconic (2-2, 2-2) 10 minutes into the second half, but Mount Everett held on.

Diego Maillo opened the scoring for Endicott (3-1-1) in the third minute with an unassisted goal. But Tobias Muellers answered in the 17th minute for the Ephs (2-0-1).

Williams is back in action against Colby on Saturday at home.

MCLA MEN 5, SUNY COBLESKILL 1

COBLESKILL, N.Y. >> Edward Boateng recorded a hat trick for MCLA in its four-goal victory.

Boateng scored twice in the first half, along with Dylan Pereira, giving the Trailblazers a 3-0 halftime advantage. Jesse Moore also scored for MCLA (3-3) while Nolan Burke had two assists.

MCLA is at Bridgewater State on Saturday. SUNY Cobleskill is 2-3.

CASTLETON, VT. >> Eva Clark scored the game-winner in the 78th minute for Castleton.

Megan Richardson recorded nine saves for MCLA (1-2-1). The Trailblazers host Bridgewater State on Saturday.
