LEE -- After an 0-2 start, the Wahconah softball team has found its equilibrium.

Gabby Lavinio cracked a home run and a double and the Warriors took their 11th win in a row, 17-0 over Lee, in a mercy-rule-shortened contest. Shannon Lussier added a double for the winners, 11-2 overall and 8-1 in the league.

Becca Grunow threw the shutout and the airtight Warrior defense made only one error in the win.

PITTSFIELD -- The Crusaders jumped out to a 4-0 lead and pitcher Chanler Hospot did the rest allowing just four hits, striking out 13 and walking none.

Virginia Goggins had a home run, while Hospot had three hits, including a double, to lead the winners at the plate. Alex Desrosiers and Keegan McCauley each had two hits for St. Joseph.

Anna Sarabia had a triple for Taconic.

GREAT BARRINGTON -- The Spartans jumped out to a 6-0 advantage after an inning. Aspen Sawyer's two-run double was the key hit.

But the Mounties kept chipping away, until they took the lead with a four-run fifth inning. The big hit in that inning was Miranda Voller's two-run single.

GREAT BARRINGTON -- The Spartans trailed only 7-4 after four innings, but Pittsfield scored 16 runs in the last three inings to pull away.

Alexa Nejaime had a home run, a double and two RBI for Monument. Winning pitcher Sarah Rayner helped her cause by going 3 for 4 with a double for the winners.
