To the editor of THE EAGLE:
As a daily reader of The Eagle’s editorial page, I have seen writers give thanks to people for deeds of kindness. I thought I would like to add my act of kindness.
I recently had to renew my driver’s license, and in doing so, the inspector thought that my eyesight was not passable. Having had a recent eye examination, I told the inspector that could not be true. The inspector suggested I take a paper from the DMV to my opthamalogist and have another examination. I agreed, and got a letter of approval. If it was not for this act of kindness from the DMV I would not be enjoying my much-loved driving.
