To the editor of THE EAGLE:
The Board of Selectmen in Lee deserves to get credit for a difficult decision once again.
Each member of the community is at the mercy of appointed officials, as well as elected officials, but somehow the Selectmen have the difficult decisions to make when an influential and well-known local agent apparently benefits personally without regard to the repercussions.
No one wants to believe the accusations, including the Selectmen. Yet they must be the authority that provides the path to overcome the adversity and continue to strive for the prosperity and the continued improvement of a concerned town.
