To the editor of THE EAGLE:
While shopping at Price Chopper last Sunday, I came upon an older woman moving very slowly with difficulty breathing. Parked next to my car, she was trying to load her groceries into her trunk.
I offered to help, and as I was doing so, I looked up and saw two men in cars directly next to hers. One was around 30, the other around 50. Both could easily see the situation, but neither bothered to help her. As it was Sunday there were no baggers to help her.
Please take a moment to look around and help those that need us. This could be you, if not now, in the future.
