To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Thanks to Dick Lindsay for writing about the environmental groups meeting next Tuesday night (Eagle, Sept. 9). Biotech Restorations will be present to discuss its technology and desire to do a free pilot test on PCBs. The article states that it is an "alternative to dredging," which it is not. Dredging will still be needed with new low-impact machines.
The PCBs will be treated with their process. Nothing is lost to allow them to try to give us a lower-impact cleanup. Free is free!
We invite all to come hear about the technology.
