WILLIAMSTOWN -- Monument Mountain's Austin Pectal connected with Brandon Perry for a 61-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage Monday night. But the Mount Greylock defense regrouped, keeping the Spartans out of the end zone for the remainder of the game on the way to a 36-8 victory.

The Mounties' defense pressured the Spartans all game, shutting down their running attack as well. Monument managed just 143 yards on the ground.

Greylock's Mike McCormack caught two TD passes from quarterback Brodie Altiere, and Daivon Clement led the Mounties with 113 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
