To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Maybe rather than threatening to sue Brian Holloway, the parents of the named children who participated in a "flash party’’ and trashed and damaged Mr. Holloway’s property in Stephentown, N.Y. ought to focus their attention inward to themselves and their children for responsibility for this deplorable conduct.
One of our societal problems in the 21st century is not taking personal responsibility for our conduct. These kids did wrong and rather than blame the victim, the parents should be taking their kids "by the ear’’ to Mr. Holloway’s home to help clean up the damage and allow their children to offer a personal apology for their stupid conduct.
Kids make mistakes (we all did); teach them their mistakes and stop passing the buck.
