To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Lisa Tully’s strong showing in the September primaries shows her to be on the top of her game. Only a mere 130 votes separate her from the top spot. As a result, she has become the upstart newcomer on the local political scene. This strong showing has turned enough heads to prove her as a legitimate candidate for the Ward 1 City Council seat.
In reflection of the destroyed opponents’ signs, to quote John Krol from his blog; "If your signs are unsteady and flapping in the breeze, then what does that say about the candidate?" HOLLY WHITEHALL VIOLA
Editor’s note: John Krol writes that his blog post was written about sign etiquette in general not the Ward 1 campaign in particular. There is no indication that the campaign signs in question were in any way faulty.
