In today's edition, we're presenting an exciting new weather package that features fun and useful facts and information that extend well beyond the daily forecast.
The new graphic, from AccuWeather.com, will remain right where you're accustomed to turning for the weather -- on the back page of the A section of The Berkshire Eagle. And it will retain many of the most popular features, from local forecasts and almanac to air quality and moon phases.
But it also will add a number of new features that add depth and context to the forecast.
Perhaps most notably, we're bringing back the national map. For those who like to track the movement of low- and high-pressure systems across the country or who prefer a quick snapshot of climate trends from coast to coast, you'll find it here.
For winter sport enthusiasts, an in-season ski report will feature updated conditions from your favorite local slopes. Sky watchers will learn where and when to look for Venus and Jupiter. And daily weather history and weather trivia will provide fun and interesting facts.
We hope you like the new features, and we welcome your feedback. If you see something you don't like or want to make a suggestion, please contact News Editor Tom Tripicco at firstname.lastname@example.org.
